Cathy Ortiz, Hiring & Training Manager
Cathy is Therapeutic Home Care’s Hiring/Training Manager. She began her career as a cashier at Pilot Travel Center before transitioning to a caregiver role at Szabad Supported Living, where she provided senior assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities. Cathy supported her participants with Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs) such as companionship, grocery shopping, enrichment activities, and monetary management. It was through this experience that Cathy discovered her passion for helping others, especially seniors in her community. In 2024, Cathy joined the Therapeutic Home Care team as a caregiver, assisting clients with personal hygiene, companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, medication reminders, and meal preparation. Her dedication ensured that her clients maintained their independence at home. Later, Cathy transitioned to the office staff at Therapeutic Home Care, where she recruits caregivers, conducts interviews, reviews employee files, conducts orientations, and trains caregivers. In her spare time, Cathy enjoys painting, scrapbooking, taking walks with her dogs, and is an avid Six Flags fan.
Brizne Esparza, Office Assistant
Brizne is Therapeutic Home Care’s Office Assistant. She began her career as a caregiver at Consumer Direct Care of Washington before transitioning to being a Nurse Assistant at a clinic, where she assisted multiple doctors with their patients. There, she took patients’ blood pressure, retrieved medical information, and scheduled patient appointments. After working in the clinic, she realized that she was destined to be a caregiver. Brizne moved from Washington to the Central Valley to pursue her caregiving career. In 2025, Brizne joined the Therapeutic Home Care team as a caregiver, assisting clients with bed bound care ranging from personal hygiene, companionship, light housekeeping, transportation, medication reminders, and meal preparation. Her commitment to ensuring that her clients had the highest quality of care while delivering a positive attitude, was Brizne’s motivation. Later, Brizne transitioned to the office staff at Therapeutic Home Care, where she answers phone calls, schedules interviews, assists the Hiring/Training Manager in conducting orientation, and assists Shireen in scheduling. In Brizne’s spare time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her dog, singing karaoke, and playing the ukulele and piano.
